Eutropin methionyl Gh, has been produced recently in the yeast by the use of recombinant method. The clinical efficacy and immunogenecity of LBD-003were studied in 23 patients with na?e GH deficiency.
The subjects of this study were aged 5.1~15.8 years and received GH 1.5IU/kg thrice weekly for 1~2 year. During trement, height, body weight & bone age were checked. Blood count, chemistry amd thyroid hormonal concentrations were checked. The
measurement of IGF-1 was dons before and every 6 months and assay of antibcdy was performed.
The height velocity was increased 8.71±1.81 cm/yr at 6 month, 7.50±1.62 cm/yr at 12 month, 6.61±1.18 cm/yr at 18 month and 5.88±0.81 cm/yr at 24 month from 3.04±0.46 cm/yr. The ratio of height age and chronological age was 1.45 at 6 month,
1.23 at
12 month, 1.50 at 18 month, 1.48 at 24 month of therapy of therapy. The plasma IGF-1 levels rose significantly during treatment. The antibody against LBD-003 was observed only one case in 23 treated-patients. Thus. Eutropin is very effective in
